Dea Connick Perez - biography
Dea Connick Perez is currently the Vice President of Programming for Animal Planet Media and Discovery Kids Media. She has over twenty years of experience in radio, television and media, the majority served in the kids business. Beginning with a long tenure at Nickelodeon/Nick-at-Nite/TV Land in programming and acquisitions, Perez transitioned to Cartoon Network in 1997, where she worked for five years before coming to the Discovery Kids Channel where she helped launch the Discovery Kids on NBC block in 2002 and re-launch Ready, Set, Learn on TLC in 2003.
