Mai Masri - biography
Mai Masri is a Palestinian filmmaker with a Bachelor’s degree in film from San Francisco State University. She has directed, photographed and edited several award-winning documentaries, which have been broadcast on more than 100 television stations around the world including BBC, Channel 4, PBS, France 2, SBS, YLE, MBC and NHK. Her work includes the multi award-winning films Frontiers of Dreams and Fears, Children of Shatila and Hanan Ashrawi: A Woman of Her Time. With her husband, filmmaker Jean Chamoun, Mai established the production companies Nour Productions and MTC.
